"What is the Best Way to Prepare for Being A Leader in an Organization "

Throughout this research paper, it is the intent of this author to present an analysis of leadership, as well as preparation within an organization. The organization may exist within the public or private sector. Therefore, what this author intends to come up with will have relevance and applicability to virtually all organizations. Similarly, it is also the intent of this author to raise questions and answers in an analytic fashion for the purpose of getting at the question (and answer) as to how a leader can be successful. To begin with, overall, most large organizations offer training, particularly where leaders (as opposed to managers) are concerned. Education is particularly important because a familiarity with the literature should ideally encompass as many examples and case studies as is possible for the potential leader. Throughout this research paper, it is my intent to examine some case studies, and raise as many questions (and answers) as possible.
