Research Paper On EFFECTIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT TEACHING STRATEGIES
When speaking of English language development, we are speaking about both English as a first language, as well as English as a second language among many students who require effective English language development and similarly effective teaching strategies. Effective English language development is also relevant for many adults as it is taught in this country, yet, for purposes of this discussion (literature review), this author is primarily concerned with K-12. As a kind of ‘backdrop’ for purposes of this literature review, and in the view of this author, it is important to qualify the target audience as reflected by effective English language development and teaching strategies, as they are numerous indeed. For many years, parents and teachers have been perplexed about youngsters who have dramatic learning strengths in some areas and equally dramatic learning weaknesses in others.
