PERSPECTIVE-TAKING JUDGMENT AMONG YOUNG ADULTS, MIDDLE AGED, AND ELDERLY PEOPLE
For purposes of this section, this author should like to address ‘why the experiment was performed’. In the view of this author, the experiment was performed for the benefit of assessing perspective-taking judgment among young adults, middle aged and elderly people. There also exists some important thematic material regarding the importance or reason as to why the experiment was performed. For example, judging the likelihood of acceptance of a painkiller as a function of three cues including severity of the condition, potential side effects and level of trust in the healthcare provider were included. The author provides a concurrent condition (in the view of this author, all in the name of perspective-taking judgment), which has to do with the analyzing the viewpoint of another person known to place no importance on any of the three cues, and the viewpoint of another person known to place very great importance on this cue.
