A DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS AS TO HOW EFFECTIVE MENTORING IS FOR NEW TEACHERS OF HIGH SCHOOLS 2
Throughout the schools (i.e. nationwide), there exists a definite necessity for the mentoring of new high school teachers. It is the further intent of this author to discuss the problem, to the greatest extent, in actuation, and ad hoc, as it is thought by this author that a better understanding of the problem overall shall be realized, coupled with the literature (review). Or to repeat, there does exist a plethora of actual case studies from which this author can extract methods to create a fresh approach to the effectiveness for the mentoring for new teachers in high schools. At this point, this author does not believe that mentoring is effective in most new high schools, and, it is also the opinion of this author that it is not so much due to what the New High School Teacher Mentoring Program contains, but what is missing.
SETTING
The overall setting for this Research and Design paper shall encompass schools (Districts; RE: Appendix)Nationwide. However, this is included for the benefit of this author’s ‘immediate school setting’. More on this shall be expounded subsequently.
