The Drug Free Workplace
There exists many advantages to ensuring a drug-free workplace. These manifest in terms of individual, psychological, social and cost-benefits, of which we are all concerned. To this extent, American society has taken notice. From the perspective of corporate America, the result of drug abuse by American employees does translate into billions of dollars. Corporate America as well as the U.S. Congress have moved to take steps towards its prevention and, ideally, it elimination. At the same time, within a democratic society, this collective effort raises some problems which must be addressed. These problems represent themselves in terms of political, social and civil libertarian manifestations.
