The Discussion and Analysis of President Ronald Reagan within the context of Communication
The purpose of this research paper is to evaluate, and assess Ronald Reagan, not so much as a President per-se but rather techniques and strategies he used for communicating. To begin with, however, I should like to pro-offer some analysis as to President Ronald Reagan’s contributions in the way of historical value. Although, in my view, it seems that Ronald Reagan was a born communicator (his namesake later on in life “The Great Communicator”), he was elected the 40th President of the United States on November 4th, 1980. During his two terms in office the popular President helped raise the Nation’s spirits. He also oversaw the creation of large budget and trade deficits and ultimately affected an historic truce in the Cold War with the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics. Ronald Reagan was often called The Great Communicator. In his earlier days, he worked many years in Hollywood doing movies, and as well he was President of The Screen Actors Guild.
