ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION

The purpose of this research paper is to assess alternative education to include home schooling, charter schools, and Montessori schooling. To a large extent, all of the aforementioned fulfill specific needs. This is not to say that the students are necessarily emotionally, psychologically, or educably backwards, but rather the needs are focused for specific segment groups as shall be expounded upon throughout this research paper. To this extent, I should like to begin by delineating some of those aspects or components of the aforementioned schools respectively. In recent years, home schooling has assumed special momentum. There are many reasons for this, as shall be expounded upon throughout this research paper, including violence in the schools, to name one. Home schoolers believe that students who receive instructions simultaneously from the home and the community at large will be more culturally sophisticated than those whose bulk of learning experience is confined to a school.
