Philosophers on the Death Penalty

Number of Pages 10

In ten pages capital punishment is examined in terms of ethical acceptability with an attempt to arrive at a consensus through a consideration of such thinkers as Socrates, Pythagoras, John Stuart Mill, Immanuel Kant, and others to determine that there can never be a true consensus and that moral consciousness must be fully developed before an answer to this question can be presented. Six sources are cited in the bibliography.
