The Enron scandal shocked the financial world. The long term results of this, and other scandals, such as WorldCom, has seen changes in the way businesses are governed. The aim of this paper is to explore the way that the scandal may have impacted on the view taken of whistle blowers, and the duty of employees to reveal wrongdoing of their employers. The paper is a proposal for research to assess if there has been any change in the view of whistle blowing and the degree t which the Enron scandal may be responsible for any changes. Fifteen sources are cited in the bibliography of this twenty-two page paper.
