This essay discusses two major issues related to change: engaging employees and benchmarking. There are at least four cultural orientations regarding change. Different strategies can be used to facilitate change for each of those structures to engage employees. Examples are given. Benchmarking is a tool that will also facilitate change. Benchmarking provides the change agent with hard data about the organization and about a competitor. There are four sources listed in the bibliography of this four page paper.
