Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, An Evaluation

Number of Pages 14

This research paper summarizes the points made in relevant literature in order to discuss whether or not the Charter has succeeded in advancing the cause of fundamental freedoms in Canada. The paper argues that it has, but with the reservation that complex issues, which are characterized by the need to find further solutions and address systemic problems, dominates the literature on this subject. Fourteen pages in length, eight sources are cited.
