Number of Pages 20

In a paper of twenty pages, the author reflects on the processes involved in clinical privileging and credentialing for physicians which are two elements of the assessment process that can determine how and where physicians practice. Variations in the approaches that have been used in Western countries globally are frequently linked to the presence of different levels of regulatory control and challenges with creating consistency in the process of evaluating physicians. This paper provides a comparison of approaches in the UK, US, and CAnada. There are ten sources listed.
