Nestle Case Study; Baby Milk Formula in the Developing World

In the 1970’s and the 1980’s Nestle suffered as a result of their policies in the developing world for the sale of baby milk formula. This 20 page paper is written in two parts examining the problems that the company faced. The first part of the paper is written as a position paper and discusses whether the company should have continued selling the product in the developing world or if it would have been better for Nestle to withdraw from this market. The paper uses a range of ethical approaches to come to his decision. The second part of the paper looks at the issue form a public relations (PR) perspective, considering the mistakes that were made by Nestle, how and why they were made and the lessons that can be learnt.
