Observing the Gill Movement in Goldfish

The writer reports on an experiment in which it was hypothesized that goldfish will move their gills more rapidly when the water temperature rises. Observation showed that varying the temperature of the water does cause the goldfish to vary their rate of gill movement and their breathing.
