Egypt subsequently became part of this pact. This essay explains what QIZs are, the criteria for a product to be a QIZ product, where and when they were established and how they are operated. The essay also discusses the effects of the QIZs on Jordan's trade and unemployment rates as well as the foreign vs local employees in these zones. The writer comments about the effect of the Zones.
