The Potential Benefit of FDI from China to Africa

Africa is one of the world's poorest regions. It has been argued that one strategy which is useful for economic development to alleviate poverty is the promotion and gaining of inward foreign direct investment (FDI). The paper examines the relationship between Africa and China to assess the degree to which this may provide benefits as well as assessing the potential disadvantages' and challenges. The paper is written using a systems approach. Nineteen sources are cited in the bibliography of this twenty-four page paper.
