Number of Pages 9

In nine pages this paper examines how friendships between the Hobbits (Sam, Frodo, Merry, and Pippin) evolve throughout Peter Jackson’s films based upon J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and also considers their interactions with and friendships of the Fellowship members (Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and Boromir) in a consideration of individual personalities and also how Howard Shore’s musical score conveys the feelings among these friends. Three sources are listed in the bibliography.
